Our Club is based in the village of Barnton, north of Northwich in Cheshire.
We would like to think that we are different from most other local youth football Clubs. BWYFC are a family, with every age group coming together as one unit. We win and we lose as a Club, and not just as a team or squad! Our Club events are for the Club, and not just one age group!

FA Charter Standard 'Community Club' Award
In December 2010, we were awarded the highest status that we could achieve under the FA Charter Standard Scheme. The scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League. To quote the FA website..."Community Clubs, the pinnacle of the club development pathway, will be those that have a high quality, multi-team (minimum of 10 teams) set up with excellent social, training and playing opportunities for all. As such, the number of Community Clubs is one of the truest measures of success for The FA Football Development strategy."

NEW BARNTON WANDERERS MINI KICKERS
January 2011 saw the Launch of Barnton Wanderers Mini Kickers (formerly Minnows), aimed at both boys and girls aged 3 to 5 years old. This, for most, is the first step into the world of football. It is, therefore, very important that these first steps are fun and enjoyable. We concentrate on FUNdamentals, developing the ABCs (Agility, Balance, Co-ordination, Strength). These are delivered through football-specific fun games and activities.
Training is 2.30pm to 3.30pm, on Sundays at Barnton Community Primary School.
