Club History:

Formed in 2001 as a view to get kids football

involved with Barnton FC and eventually recruit

more local players for the Senior team

Football first started as a Sunday training session to recruit players; and from there 2 teams, an under 8’s  and under 10’s, were entered into the Mid Cheshire League for the 2002/03 season. The club has expanded season on season from that initial start to currently having 10 teams

Club Colours:

2 girls teams were formed for the 2003/04 season, but after 3 seasons the teams disbanded owing to a shortage of players, however it is Barnton YFC’s intention to start girls football again during the 2009/10 season.

 

Barnton YFC were awarded the FA Charter Standard in 2004, renewed in 2007 and were awarded the FA Charter Development club status in 2009.
